"After I accidentally threw my 88 year old father's denture down the toilet (along with the meal I had cooked for him which proved to be too rich) a visit to the Dentist's was required - hence how I found these wonderful books.
My frail Dad, with a vac machine attached to his leg, under a moon-boot, had recently just had surgery and he found these visits to be somewhat stressful, as did I (the guilty daughter who should have probably guessed that false teeth may well be in the bowl) .  To have your books to read gave us such a uplifting. lighthearted, happy time as we waited to see Andrew Meffan.  We needed that more than one could guess.
Tomorrow, all being well, he goes back in for a skin graft so I'm certain he will be able to paw over the book when it arrives during these next few weeks.
I shall treasure my copy and get more much-needed giggles from it.
